Sathurday October 17th we will appear on stage as part of the M&M dag festival in Waalwijk. Besides our new lineup we are also able to let you hear some new material as well as some old, may it be a little polished, material.

After more than a year and many... many try-outs we finally found ourselves a new man on the vocals. Martijn Tamerius. He is well known from his former band, CTRL-C, and gives Mental a bit more of a rough taste. Since our next performance is already in 2 weeks you should definatly take a moment and experience the new mental sound and look.

As part of the Lamentation Reunion festival, Mental Captivity will play on friday the 22nd of August in Lexnoise (Apollo) in Dordrecht. As a very special guest we will introduce you again to Alain Cazelles, who played in Mental Captivity till 2004 and will take care of the vocals on this gig.
So see you all in Dordrecht for this very special festival with lots of good music.

Mike, who played the bass guitar for several years, found himself with too less time on his hands so we decided to split up. We thank Mike for the fun we had over the past few years.
Luckily we found a new player in an ex-member of the band, Arthur van Ameijde. We didn't need any time to think when a let us know that he wanted to join us and immediatly welcomed him with open arms.

Lo folks. After nearly 2 years of recruiting and audiencing we finally found the lead guitarist we were looking for. His name is Daniel van Veen and you will surely have a chance of hearing his work on our next demo and see him performing life on stage in one of our soon to be announced shows.
Also we sadly have to announce that Gijsbert left the band after playing with us for almost 7 years. Luckily he was replaced quite fast by Lex van de Heuvel, an old friend of the band and a great musician.
